Do you ever feel like you are so far away from God that He can’t hear you or that He doesn’t care? It is quite the opposite. God is ever so close to you and He cares for you no matter how far we journey from Him. Our distance is caused by our lack of prayer and time in His word. I find that when my Bible Study time is limited and my time in prayer is short, my joy in the Lord and closeness with Him is hindered.

In times of distress we turn our backs on Him and complain instead of falling to our knees and crying out for His will to be done and that we be a usable vessel to bring honor and glory to His name through our trials.

Bottom line, God cares, He loves you and He is simply a prayer away and He longs to reconnect with you, He will not force you, He will patiently wait for you to realize that He is there, He always will be.
