What It Means To Be Called 'Christian'
Sunday, December 28, 2014
Acts 11:26
This Sunday, Pastor Stacey Harris examines the meaning of the label 'Christian' as given to those in the early church. Translated as "little Christ", Pastor Harris explains what people saw in the early Christians which reflected Jesus so strongly that they would assign their peers such a name. Furthermore, he encourages the congregation to be Christians, using the term not to denote any religious affiliation, but instead as it was first meant: as a description of those whose lives were motivated by Christ and his example - living differently, dynamically, and deliberately for the Father. - Nov 30, 2014Single Sermon Topic: Being a People of Thanks
