Luke 2:6-7
When Joseph and Mary arrived in Bethlehem, they knew that Mary could give birth at any moment and were in desperate need of shelter. At this time, God could have orchestrated the most lavish birth for his son, Jesus. However, Jesus’s humble entry into our world demonstrated in many ways God’s true purpose for his son. Jesus would be the savior for ALL man kind including the rich, the poor, the famous, the unknown, the wanted, and the forgotten. His humble birth is a symbol of how we as Christians can easily approach the throne of Jesus Christ.
