“What is a church person?” This is the question Pastor Stacey Harris asks as he begins a new three week study in Third John entitled Church People. Of the three types of church people outlined by John, Pastor Harris teaches the congregation that each “church person” displays characteristics of all, but embodies one more predominantly than the others. To begin the series he examines Gaius, “the helping person,” and outlines the characteristics of such a person within the church by studying his relationships, reputation, and actions.
