This Sunday, Pastor Stacey Harris continues his Church People series by studying the second of three “church people” outlined in the Third Epistle of John. He calls Diotrephes “the hindering and haughty person,” and by examining him, Pastor Harris shows the congregation the destructive, dismal, and devious characteristics of a prideful spirit. Next, he considers how to recognize pride and the way to defeat it when we see it attempt to manifest itself in our own lives.
