Wednesday Momentum

Tonight (1.27.16) we will have our Family Meal at 5:30 pm in the Family Life Center followed by our Family Momentum at 6:30 pm. Pastor Adam will be preaching a sermon series entitled “Oh Whale” in the Sanctuary. He will be stepping through the book of Jonah in the weeks to come. We will also have a great time of worship led by our worship ministry.
In addition, we have something for the whole family as the kids (birth-5th grade) can take part in our Awana Program and students (6th-12th grade) can go to the Collected Student Worship Service in the Family Life Center. Momentum concludes at 8:00 pm. We look forward to gathering together on Wednesday.

Clothes Closet Currently Restocking for Winter

With cold weather quickly approaching, the clothes closet is in need of restocking for the late fall and winter seasons. Gently used fleece hoodies, winter clothing, socks, gloves, mittens, kids’ jackets, and warm blankets are welcome. Donations can be placed in Room 220.

Angel Tree to Benefit Local Foster Children

Beginning Sunday, November 1st, remember to pick-up an angel from the angel tree located in the church lobby. Every angel will have a gift a local foster child has placed on his or her Christmas list written on it. Purchase the gift and place it under the angel tree by Sunday, December 13th. Each child will receive his or her gift on Monday, December 14th at the Black Mountain Children’s Home Christmas party.

Annual Christmas Toy Drive

Sunday, November 1st–Wednesday, December 9th. We need new, unwrapped items for children from birth to teen. All donations go to children in our community and can be placed at the tree in the hallway leading to the
Children’s Department.

Café Connect is a time for ladies to connect with other ladies while learning God’s truths through great resources in a cozy setting.

iOS 9 update

Apple is releasing version 9 of its Operating System for mobile devices (iOS 9) today. 

We ask that you do not update your devices to iOS 9 until the new version of your app (version 1.7.0) is approved by Apple. If you do upgrade to iOS 9, everything in your app will continue to work, with the exception of the sermon player. The app will close any time you try to listen to a sermon.

 
You can keep an eye out for your updated app in the Updates tab of the App Store app. Blessings!
