About

CARE is a ministry that aims to facilitate a safe space for both church and community to share a need, seek prayer, and find encouragement, comfort, and healing.

To show compassion, to seek the anointing of the Holy Spirit through genuine prayer, to know His response is timely, and to experience empathy in feeling what others feel are the principles by which the CARE & Prayer ministry is led. We know Jesus can overcome disease, sickness, pain, a broken heart, a broken relationship, and anything else the world throws at us. All we must do is put our faith, trust, and dependence in Him—our Savior, helper, and provider of all things.

While the majority of care takes place within small groups, there are also various ministries that exist to serve and care for the entire congregation and community outside of small groups.

CARE Team

Our CARE Team is a group of individuals specifically dedicated to taking time weekly to update, distribute (where applicable), and pray for all prayer requests received. They also focus on putting a smile on the faces of those in need with small tokens of love and encouragement. How CARE cares:

PRAYER
The team covers the church and community in prayer. They also pray intentionally for every request they receive.

CARDS
Get well soon, praying for you, encouragement, appreciation, and birthday cards are sent weekly to service members, shut-ins, church attendees, and those in the community.

CALLS
Weekly calls are made both for encouragement and also for updates to our prayer list.

Do you know someone who would love a card or a call? Please let us know!

GriefShare Support Group

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. GriefShare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life. There are thousands of GriefShare grief recovery support groups meeting throughout the US, Canada, and in over 10 other countries, including Trinity of Fairview!

GriefShare meets Wednesday (6:00-8:00 p.m.) evenings in the Wellness Center. The fall session runs January 17 through April 10. Visit or join a group at any time!

Prayer

CARE is about loving others as we love ourselves. Not only should we care for our own welfare, but also for the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being of others–meeting needs where we can.

CARE begins with prayer. We believe prayer is an irreplaceable, utterly powerful, and completely essential element in a relationship with the Lord. It brings salvation, grace, healing, guidance, comfort, mercy, and encouragement. It’s the way we stay in touch with Him!

Prayer is always taking place somewhere at Trinity. In addition to our weekly CARE team and our pastors, we also have a group of prayer warriors dedicated to praying over all needs they receive the moment they receive them.
