ROOM 300
“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” Edmund Burke
As men of God, we will look at what it means to take on the role God desires us to fulfill. For men today, looking through the tainted glasses of this world, it can become confusing to understand how and when we should stand up to be the men we are called to be. It’s only when we understand the truth that we can discern the lies of satan.
We are going to look at seven different attributes of a godly man, and discuss how to apply them to our lives so that we can make a difference in our relationship with God, our families, and others.
Each week can serve as a “stand alone” study. If you miss one, please don’t feel as though you cannot return for the remaining sessions.

The Truth For All Times
ROOM 302
The first century was a time of tremendous growth for the Christian church as the truth of the gospel spread far and wide throughout the Roman Empire and beyond. However, as the church grew, so did the attacks against the gospel truths upon which the church was being built. These attacks came from outside the church in the form of persecution but–perhaps even more dangerously–from within the church by means of false teachings.
Much of the content found in Paul’s epistles was intended to refute the various heresies that were threatening the spiritual health and effectiveness of these young churches. This was particularly the case with Paul’s letter written to the believers in Colossae. Overtaking the church there was a strange amalgamation of Greek philosophy and Jewish legalism. What makes this book so relevant to us today is that such heresies never completely die. They simply resurrect themselves in other forms throughout the centuries.
The purposes of our study will be to recognize the similarities with today’s false teachings, and to embrace the essential, life-giving truths which Paul’s letter to the Colossians continues to teach us today.

Being Ready to Minister in a Time of Crisis
ROOM 303
Topics covered in this course will include:
What these viruses are; where they are; and why they are so dangerous.
What the government will expect of you if a pandemic were declared.
How to protect yourself, and how to care for the sick.
Sharing our faith in a time of crisis.

ROOM 301
A decade ago, Priscilla Shirer authored Discerning the Voice of God, and since then God has continued to grow, teach, and challenge her in her walk with him.
Through seven sessions, discover the root to clear and daily communication with God–humble obedience. Learn how surrender unlocks His many blessings intended for us, centers us in His will, and helps us discern his voice in everyday life.
Ladies from all walks and seasons of life will bring a new perspective each week–teaching the affirming truth of these lessons–demonstrating the power of God in their own lives.
