WHAT DOES KID'S CENTRAL MEAN? - "Getting Our Lives On Target, Focusing on Christ! Mark 10:14 Jesus says, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
Children are our centralized focus in KID' S CENTRAL! We believe in order to get our children focused on Christ and to raise up committed Christians, we must start at birth and maintain growth and Christian fellowship for a lifetime, in order to reach and touch others for Christ with their gifts and talents. We also want our minitries to extend to the entire family.
Our Mission in the Children and Preschool ministry is to LOVE children like Jesus, INTRODUCE them to Him, ENCOURAGE them as they begin this journey of a lifetime. We want to FOSTER a love for the fellowship and ministry of the Church. We will provide them the opportunity to Worship, learn, evangelize, and REACH OUT to others and be what Jesus has asked us to be, Light and Salt of the Earth. We will do our best, with the leadership of the Holy Spirit, to encourage our children to use their gifts and talents to bring glory to the name of the Lord Jesus Christ in any way we can.
Ministries and Events
JUMP START will be from 9:15-9:30. This will be an Opportunity for our Children to stop by and grab a quick bowl of cereal, pop tart etc. to help hold them over until lunch time. Some of our children are here from 8:30 or earlier until 12:00 or later. We hope to have our parents and others to get involved and assist in this ministry
His Kids! (Preschool Ministry Birth PreK Sunday & Wednesday)- Not only do we have a fantastic Bible Study Fellowship hour for our Preschoolers, but we also have a Second Session learning experience for them as well. These children are truly His and we want to give them a foundation of the love of Jesus seen through Bible Stories, Play time, Crafts and those who work with them. We are very excited about the upcoming year.
INTENSE FOCUS! This is our Bible Study Fellowship time for Children K-5th Grade. AT 11:00
It is a time where they encounter God’s Word and see how it relates to them and their every day lives. Also for teachers and helpers it is a time to model the love of Jesus and help them see what living a Christian life means. We must always keep in mind that Bible Study Fellowship time is foundational in many Children’s lives and is where many come to know Jesus as their Savior. We hope to outgrow every inch of Space available in the church with Children coming to Jesus for His Glory and His Kingdom. We pray that their lives are changed and it spills over into the lives of their families, friends and communities.
The Children’s Pastor Coordinates Intense Focus
Kid’s Korner (Children K-5th Grade First Session) - we are very excited about Kid’s Korner this year. We’re looking forward to a high impact worship experience for children of all ages. Non stop action and excitement will encourage Children to focus their attention on the front so they can see what will happen next. Children will have every opportunity to participate and interact as they learn about the values of God’s Word. Our prayer is that adults and parents will get as excited as their children and become a part of this worship experience. We want to see children excited about coming and disappointed to leave.
Coordinators: Joe Chandler
”Kritter Land” is our First Service Preschool Worship time. We will be utilizing a new curriculum this year created by the same ones who do Big City Studios. We will utilize our Adult leaders to be in control of classroom safety and care while other Youth and other Adult leaders rotate through the classrooms and teach them with puppets, do crafts, music and snacks. We want our Children no matter how young or old to learn about Jesus at their level while in our care and not to be baby sitting without any motivation or influence.
Coordinators: Wayne and Misty Moore (and Children’s Pastor)
Mission Friends! (Boys & Girls 3 years-PreK)
This program is a Wednesday Night Program for our preschoolers. It introduces them to the whole concept of Missions, and gets them to begin to actively think about missions and how that ties in to their Faith. Preschoolers have story time, craft time, music with Lionel the Lion and recreation time.
Coordinator: Mandy Pinner
Kids In Motion!! We have changed our Wednesday Night program from RA’s and GA’s to (K.I.M). Our boys and Girls will still divide up just like they always have. However, everyone will be on the same page and doing the same thing.
At 6:30 we will meet for our Snack time (Pizza etc.)
at 6:45 will then go to the Attic Classroom and have a large group time of singing and introduction to our Missions topic for the night,
7:00 we will disperse the Children to their individual classrooms. Boys 1st-3rd, 4th-5th and Girls will have the same divisions.
8:00 we are finished and ready for Parent pick up.This will be a big help especially during the summer months when attendance is down we can pull our groups together if necessary and teach them the same thing because everyone is on the same page.
“ENERGIZE” (K-5th grade) is an exciting outreach tool for children in which, we encourage them to build relationships through game times and just time spent hanging out. We have Prizes and Food and some extra snacks they may purchase at very low prices. This encourages responsibility without the help of Mom and Dad and gives Children a sense of independence. We have a time of Worship and a short Devotion, the rest of the time belongs to them. Usually on 3rd Fridays.
Coordinators: Dominic and Mary Mariut
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School was awesome this year. We had 197+ children this year and 100+ Volunteers. We had 3 children receive Christ and 6 rededications, and 2 who wanted to know more about Jesus and Salvation. We averaged 163 children a day Bible school 2010 will be held the Third week of June. This year the theme will be: SADDLE RIDGE RANCH!! Coordinators: Melody Patton & Candi Wright
In addition to our regular programs we also enjoy many other outings geared toward our children like Fall Festival , Back to School Blast, Out of School blowout (May at Fundepot), Easter egg hunts and Vacation Bible School. Our children also go to mission camp every year.
As you can tell there is a lot going on at Trinity and we want you and your family to be a part of it.
God Bless you!
